FASTLAB MOBILE APP PRIVACY POLICY

1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy specifically governs your use of the myHealth Android Application available on the Google Play Store. This policy is drafted in compliance with the Google Play User Data Policy and the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
2. Android Permissions & Prominent Disclosures
To provide our core diagnostic and telemedicine services, the myHealth App requires specific access to your device. We request these permissions at "Runtime" (when you perform the action), and you may revoke them at any time in your device settings.
A. Location
Why we need it:
To connect you with the nearest Laboratory Partner or match you with a physician.
Prominent Disclosure:
"FastLab collects location data to enable 'Find Nearby Labs' and 'get consultation' features, location is accessed only when the app is in use."
Data Safety:
Location data is used to securely pair patients with consultation based on their region.
B. Camera
Why we need it:
For Patients: To conduct video consultations with Doctors.
Prominent Disclosure:
"FastLab does not record or store video calls."
C. Storage & Files
Why we need it:
To allow you to upload medical history documents (PDF/Images) and to save downloaded Test Result PDFs to your device.
Prominent Disclosure:
"We access only the specific files you select to upload. We do not scan your entire device storage."
D. Microphone
Why we need it:
To enable audio during Telemedicine video/voice calls and recording voice notes during consultations.
3. Data Safety Section (Google Play Declaration)
The following data types are collected and shared as defined by Google Play's Data Safety classification:

4. Third-Party & Data Sharing
Our Android App integrates specific Software Development Kits (SDKs) to function. By using the app, you consent to data processing by:
Google Places Search API
To search for physicians and facilities near you.
Firebase (Google)
For Push Notifications.
Twilio
For powering the video/audio consultation infrastructure.
5. Account Deletion (Google Play Requirement)
In compliance with Google Play's "Account Deletion Policy":
In-App Deletion:
You can request account deletion directly within the App via Settings > Profile > Delete Account.
Web Deletion:
If you cannot access the app, you may request deletion via our web portal:
Delete My AccountEffect of Deletion:
- Your login credentials and profile will be permanently removed.
Retention Exception: Your Clinical Medical Records (Test Results/Prescriptions) will be retained in our secure archives for a minimum period (e.g., 6 years) as strictly required by the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN) laws, but will be disassociated from your active commercial account.
6. Children's Privacy
This App is not directed at children under the age of 18.
Parental Consent: If a minor requires a test, a Parent or Legal Guardian must register the account and book the test on their behalf.
Google Play Families Policy: We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without verified parental consent.
7. Security of On-Device Data
- For "Offline-First" features (e.g., for Labs/Doctors):
- Data stored locally on your Android device (in SQLite databases) is protected via Android Keystore System encryption.
- We strongly recommend that you secure your Android device with a PIN, Pattern, or Biometric Lock to prevent unauthorized access to the FastLab App.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Android Privacy Policy to reflect changes in Google Play policies or Nigerian law. You will be notified of significant changes via an in-app update notification.
